## 1. Firmware Update

{% hint style="info" %}

1. To avoid software and firmware version incompatibility, please follow the update sequence and complete both software and all four firmware updates.
2. After the update, the glove may experience disconnection. Please manually [pair](#id-2.-glove-and-signal-receiver-pairing) it again.
3. Firmware Update Depends on Driver Version: Only the latest version of the driver can update the glove and receiver firmware to the latest version. Please ensure your driver is updated to the latest version for the full update experience.
 {% endhint %}

### **a.** Wired update for the gloves**:**

### **b.** Wireless update for the gloves**:**

① The gloves are in a normal **wireless connection** state, and the version information of the gloves is displayed on the page.

② Check whether the current version of the gloves supports wireless update.

③ After confirming that there is no error, click the update button at the bottom of the gloves.

④ After the update is completed, you need to turn on the device manually (press and hold for about 10 seconds).

{% hint style="warning" %}

1. During the firmware update process, switching the update method is not supported.
2. After updating some firmware versions, the glove channels may be adjusted, causing the glove to lose connection. Please [pair the glove](#id-2.-glove-and-signal-receiver-pairing) for a secure connection.

### UDCAP Glove Firmware Update Guide

Please follow the steps below to complete the firmware update for your UDCAP glove:

#### Step 1: Upgrade UDCAP Software to Version 1.7.0

* Make sure you have downloaded and installed the latest UDCAP software (version **1.7.0**).
* You can get the updated version from [the official download center](https://udexreal.com/pages/setup).

#### Step 2: Insert the Dongle

* Plug the dongle into a USB port on your computer.

#### Step 3: Connect the Glove

* Use the data cable to connect the glove to your computer.
* **Please be sure to plug the cable into the Type-C port located near the pinky finger side of the glove. （show as 【c. Firmware Update Reminder:】）**

{% hint style="danger" %}
❗ Plugging into the wrong port will cause the UDCAP software to fail to recognize the glove.
{% endhint %}

#### Step 4: Click “Update Firmware”（BOTH HANDS NEED TO UPDATING)

* Open the UDCAP software, and once the device is recognized, click the “**Update Firmware**” button to start the upgrade.
* A total of **four** firmware updates are required.

{% hint style="warning" %}
Note:

* Do not disconnect the glove during the firmware update process.
* After a wired firmware update, both the **receiver and glove will restart automatically**.However, if the glove is updated **wirelessly**, it **must be powered on manually** after the update.

## **2. Glove and Signal Receiver Pairing:**

{% hint style="info" %}
**Notes:**

1. Software v0.1.4 and above, Firmware v0.0.6 and above
2. Glove firmware V0.0.6 (both hands; see [**\[Firmware Update\]** ](#id-1.-firmware-update)for details)
3. Wireless Receivers are **hand-agnostic**:Receiver becomes *left/right* based on the connected glove.
 {% endhint %}

**Scenario 1: Partial Glove Disconnection**

If both Wireless Receivers show normal status but **one/both gloves lose connection**:\
→ Click **"Pairing"** in the Firmware Update page\
→ Follow pop-up instructions to re-pair gloves.

**Scenario 2: Single Receiver Detection**

If **two receivers** are inserted but only **one appears** in Firmware Update:

→ Both receivers are connected to the **same-side glove**.

→ Perform **individual pairing** **per** below.

**Operation Procedure:**

1. Insert **only one** wireless receiver.
2. Power on **only the left glove**.
3. On the firmware update interface, click **Pairing**.
