Firmware Update & Channel Switching
The cable connects to the Type-C connector on the pinky side of the glove.
1. Firmware Update
a. Firmware version V0.0.6 and below:
Only wired connections are supported for retrieving glove firmware information. Firmware information can only be obtained and firmware updates can only be performed under a wired connection.

b. Firmware version V0.0.6 and above:
After obtaining the glove information, both wireless and wired update methods are supported. Switching between update methods is not allowed during the update process. When the wireless receiver and VR glove are connected, the system will automatically check for updates. If a new version is available, simply click Firmware Update to update online.
After updating some firmware versions, the glove channels may be adjusted, causing the glove to lose connection. Please pair the glove for a secure connection.
c. Firmware Update Reminder:
Please make sure to connect to the computer as shown in the image to perform the firmware upgrade.

UDCAP Glove Firmware Update Guide
Please follow the steps below to complete the firmware update for your UDCAP glove:
Step 1: Upgrade UDCAP Software to Version 1.4.2
Make sure you have downloaded and installed the latest UDCAP software (version 1.4.2).
You can get the updated version from the official download center.
Step 2: Insert the Dongle
Plug the dongle into a USB port on your computer.
Step 3: Connect the Glove
Use the data cable to connect the glove to your computer.
Please be sure to plug the cable into the Type-C port located near the pinky finger side of the glove. (show as 【c. Firmware Update Reminder:】)
❗ Plugging into the wrong port will cause the UDCAP software to fail to recognize the glove.
Step 4: Click “Update Firmware”(BOTH HANDS NEED TO UPDATING)
Open the UDCAP software, and once the device is recognized, click the “Update Firmware” button to start the upgrade.
A total of four firmware updates are required.
Note:
Do not disconnect the glove during the firmware update process.
After a wired firmware update, both the receiver and glove will restart automatically. However, if the glove is updated wirelessly, it must be powered on manually after the update.
2. Glove and Signal Receiver Pairing:
Scenario 1: Partial Glove Disconnection
If both Wireless Receivers show normal status but one/both gloves lose connection: → Click "Pairing" in the Firmware Update page → Follow pop-up instructions to re-pair gloves.

Scenario 2: Single Receiver Detection
If two receivers are inserted but only one appears in Firmware Update:
→ Both receivers are connected to the same-side glove.
→ Perform individual pairing per below.
Operation Procedure:
Insert only one wireless receiver.
Power on only the left glove.
On the firmware update interface, click Pairing.

While the glove is powered on, press and hold the glove’s power button for about 3 seconds, until the two lights on the glove control box flash green, indicating that the glove has entered pairing mode. Once pairing is successful, the interface will automatically switch to the Pairing Successful screen. Click Close to complete the process.

Note: While the glove is powered on, press and hold the left glove’s power button for about 3 seconds, until the two lights on the glove control box flash green.
(If the lights do not flash, it means either you did not hold long enough or the glove firmware version is below 0.0.6).

Unplug the left signal receiver and power off the left glove.
Insert the other signal receiver and power on the right glove.
Repeat steps 3 and 4, and you can complete the individual pairing of the left and right hands of the gloves.
