## UDCAP VR Gloves V 1.8.6 Update

**Software Version: V0.1.8.6** **Glove Firmware Version: V0.1.2** **Release Date: August 26, 2026**This update mainly focuses on optimizing SteamVR interaction, improving the glove calibration experience, and enhancing firmware stability. It also fixes several issues that may occur during use.

### Softwarefixes & Improvements

* Fixed an issue where the glove icons in SteamVR could incorrectly appear active when the gloves were not connected.
* Fixed an issue where SteamVR control could incorrectly switch to the gloves when they were not connected, potentially affecting the operation of other controllers.
* Optimized the glove calibration process and fixed an issue where the SteamVR system menu could accidentally open during calibration.
* Fixed an issue where tracking devices could drift during calibration, improving the overall calibration experience.

### Firmwarefixes & Improvements

* Fixed an issue where the gloves could occasionally freeze or become unresponsive in certain usage scenarios.
* Improved firmware stability and overall reliability during operation.

### Update Recommendation

## Software Installation

Open the Udcap Driver software package and follow the installation steps.

**After the software installation is complete, the installation option for the USB signal receiver will automatically pop up:**

* If you are using the UDCAP driver for the first time, installation is required.
* If it has already been installed, simply exit by clicking the top-right corner. Reinstalling will prompt a failure message, but it will not affect usage.
