Udcap Driver v0.1.4.0 Update Log

1. New Features

✅ Support for Wireless Firmware Updates: After updating the glove to the latest firmware, future updates can be completed wirelessly.

✅ One-Click Pairing for Wireless Receiver and Glove.

✅ New Signal Strength Display: Move the mouse over the glove UI to display the signal strength.

2. Feature Optimizations & Fixes

  • Optimized firmware update UI for improved readability and user experience.

  • Optimized firmware update process to reduce operational errors.

  • Optimized channel switching method for more intuitive switching.

TIPS: After updating the glove, it will automatically join the same channel as the current receiver, no need for manual settings.

  • Fixed issue with incorrect default parameter settings in UTK.

  • Fixed multiple bugs that could cause software crashes, enhancing stability.

3. Other Improvements

  • The "UDCAP VR Glove User Manual" has been updated. Please refer to the [Software Settings > Firmware Update and Channel Switching] section for detailed instructions.

Notes:

  • The current glove firmware v0.0.6 still requires a wired connection for updates.

  • Update notifications will appear as a pop-up window at the top of the main menu. All users are strongly encouraged to complete the upgrade as soon as possible.

  • To avoid software and firmware version incompatibility, please follow the update sequence and complete both software and all four firmware updates.

  • After the update, the right-hand glove may experience disconnection. Please manually pair it again.

Software Installation

Open the Udcap Driver software package and follow the installation steps.

After the software installation is complete, the installation option for the USB signal receiver will automatically pop up:

  • If you are using the UDCAP driver for the first time, installation is required.

  • If it has already been installed, simply exit by clicking the top-right corner. Reinstalling will prompt a failure message, but it will not affect usage.
